the Word is alive.

today i am wanting to run somewhere. anywhere. I feel so blah sitting at home for the millionth day-in-a-row. (well, maybe not a millionth.) so maybe i'll go running in a little bit, after it warms up outside. I don't want to be a popsicle!
short post, sorry yall. I did find a pretty picture to look at though. :) credit: here

and now, a verse I read, and liked last night in 2 Thessalonians.
2Thes. was a letter written by Paul to the church at, you guessed it, Thessalonica! The Thessalonian people misunderstood Paul's first letter to them, 1 Thes., and so Paul sent them a second one to clear things up about the second coming of Christ and how it would be a while, probably no in their lifetime and the signs that would tell us when the time would be nearer. Ok, here's the verse-y. :)

With all these things in mind, dear brothers and sisters, stand firm and keep a strong grip on the teaching we passed on to you in both person and in letter. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. 2 Thes. 2:15-17

I'm not even going to try and explain that verse to you or put my two-sense in. Instead, just repeat that verse to yourself over and over again and let the words go deep inside of you. Let him strengthen you.
And then go read 1 Thessalonians.

i love you all, happy tuesday!
