hellooooooooo, my lovely blog friends. :)
I hope you are all loving this Good Friday & Earth Day! :)
It's such a special day. the anniversary of Christ doing the very thing we couldn't do, all to save us from our own sin.
How marvelous and glorious He is!!

Next Wednesday is the last CWC class we have. It's been so much fun, I'm almost sad it's ending! But, for a special ending, all the students are going to be doing a reading, which is where all the students are going to read 2-3 of their own works in front of family and friends! I am so excited! I wanted to get y'all's feedback on these two pieces I'm going to be reading. They haven't been edited or revised, so they can be considered 'rough drafts'. If anyone has any constructive criticism, I would love to hear it! :)

Find yourself in a field of lilies, purple and gold, and then tell me. Go swim in open, salty waters, under the bright sunlight, and then convince me. Reach up and try to touch the stars in the night sky. Black. When you fail, please, make me understand. Rock a child to sleep in your arms and hear the soft yawn that escapes plump lips, and then make me believe you. Tell me there’s no such thing as Glory.

Imagine.
You are a fog that descends upon the ground
in the middle of winter
before the sun rises.
Picture it.
You are a mist that sprays up from the ocean waves
and falls back down to wet the shell-filled sand.
Understand this.
You are a breath that it released from powerful lungs,
and is only seen in certain lighting. For a short time.
Know it.
You are but a vapor, floating around
anxious to find a home in the empty air,
