and I had so much fun, as you can see! this was our first annual youth camping trip and we had a blast! we couldn't have a campfire, sadly, because of the no-burn policy state-wide this weekend due to the "drought" we've had. :( but we made the most of it and had a charcoal fire inside of a baking pan. :) that made for the most pitiful picture ever....everyone was sitting around this tiny pan with smoldering coals roasting marshmallows. haha!
and speaking of.....well, nothin in particular....MY STORY GOT PUBLISHED!! i am so thrilled! I still have to send in the final revised version, which I'm still workin on, but OH MY GOODNESS!! Of course, I'll post a link to get to the online mag so you can see it. I feel kinda weird talking about my success, but I trust that yall are happy for me. and, I think this was God's plan. I mean, I wrote the story for him, I submitted it with His permission, and I prayed that if it wasn't meant to be, it wouldn't happen! I can't help but believe that something good will come out of this, aside from my own happiness! :)
so anyway, I guess I'll go now. I had a great weekend, hope everyone else did too! feel free to comment and tell me what ya did.... ;) happy columbus day!
