Desperate

Hello, dear loves. Happy weekend to you all!

I am camping this weekend, with my Incredible family. We got to the campground around noon today, and we have just been having the best time together! :)

I'm laying in the hammock my dad set up, reading my bible and Crazy Love. Something in crazy love made a song-lyric finally click for me. heres the quote from the book:

"God tells the priests that if they don't want to give him excellence, others will. God says His Name will be great among the nations. Right now, a hundered million angels are praising Gods name; He certainly doesn't need to beg or plead with us. We should be the ones begging to worship in His presence."

Duh, Shelby!!


We sing this song in church that says, "Lord, write me into your great story. Lord, write me into your great song. Take all I am; it's for your glory. One say all else will be gone."

The part I have never understood is the "write into your great story/song." To me, God already has a plan for us. I never knew why we would ask to be "written-in." So, I never sang that part. Afterall, I didnt know what I was singing.
But when I read that quote in Crazy Love, it made sense.
God should be so Big and Holy to us, and we should be so desperate and longing of Him, that we ask to be in His presence!
It reminds me of a conversation I had with my sister one time. We were talking about how cool it would be to sit at Gods feet.

Just his feet are amazing to me and give me chilly bumps!

We also joked that even the pinky toe would be more than anything we've ever eperienced. :)
