day of prayer

today is so exciting! It's National Day of Prayer day! I know, we pray everyday; but the thought of everyone praying together, within the same hours, and maybe even about the same things is very exciting to me! I love to pray. But I think what I'm most happy about is this: today many people who may not pray everyday are going to get down on their knees/fold their hands/close their eyes and they are going to SPEAK to God! And whether they know it or not, they will be opening up their hearts to them, if only just a little bit. And that little window into their heart is ALL God needs to rush in like a mighty river and take over their lives FOREVER!
How awesome?!?!

Talk to God today. And don't just ask Him for stuff. Tell him how great he is, thank him, lift others up in prayer! And then tomorrow, do it again! :)
