actions speak louder

hello, lovelies. :)

how has your thursday been?? mine's been nice.
this morning, brantley and i, and a few friends, helped out at the Thursday Lunch at our church. Afterwards, we all went out to mcdonalds for some lunch. Then we came home, did chores, ate dinner, and now I'm writing to you. :)

it's very yucky right now though. it's rainy and humid and hooooooooot.


I just got done reading Titus, which didn't take long because it's like, 3 pages long. I particularly like these verses:

Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted. Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good.
Titus 1:15-16




We were talking in youth last night about how we can be a witness without actually talking about Jesus. We can just be a light by loving people with our actions and whatnot.
Well, if we can witness to people without talking about Jesus, then we can also deny him, without actually "denying" him.
You know what I mean. Like not doing what you know is right- that's denying the Holy Spirit to work in you.
But instead, Christ tells us to deny ourselves.
If we don't, we're not worthy of being His.


Just some thoughts.....
